Solexperts acquired new borehole logging equipment from Geovista, UK. The new probes enable us to offer a more comprehensive testing programme especially for hydrogeological site investigations.

The new equipment is suitable to characterise the hydraulic conditions in a borehole. Measurement of discontinuous flow velocities allows localising permeable zones in rock or a leak in a casing. Borehole logs are useful to optimise a subsequent packer testing programme.
Most of the acquired probes can be stacked so several parameters can be measured during a single run. The probes are run in hole using a motorised winch with 600 m of cable.
