Horonobe, Japan Stand-Pipe Multi-Packer System
|
In the framework of the preparation of the construction of the Honorobe underground research facility in the north of Hokkaido, Japan, several deep boreholes were drilled in order to investigate the hydrogeology.
Solexperts was contracted together with GERD, our Japanese Partner Company, for the instrumentation of a 720 deep borehole with a Solexperts Stand -Pipe Multi-Packer system.
In the 76 mm diameter borehole seven intervals were implemented for pressure monitoring, hydraulic testing and groundwater sampling.
End of February 2004 the SPMP-76 system was successfully installed. |
