 Current Projects / Pump Multi-Packer Systems Namikata and Kurashiki, Japan

The Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation (JOGMEC) constructs storage facilities for oil and gas (LPG stockpiling) which are located at Namikata and Kurashiki. Several boreholes were drilled and equipped for groundwater monitoring.
In april/june and september/november 2005, a total of four Solexperts Pump Multi-Packer Systems were successfully installed at Namikata and Kurashiki.
Up to five borehole sections can be isolated for hydraulic investigations and water sampling in boreholes of 76 mm diameter with the Solexperts Pump Multi-Packer System.
At each interval level, a double-valve pump and a pressure sensor is integrated in the Pump Multi-Packer System. Water samples can be taken from each interval. The use of PVC casing keeps the costs for these systems low. |
