Current Projects / Reactive Barrier, Willisau
|
Following three years of research, testing and planning, the team with the wood treatment facility in Willisau, Switzerland the geological office Schenker, Korner & Partner the Institute of Geotechnical Engineering of the ETHZ and Solexperts installed a reactive barrier wall to remediate chromium contaminated groundwater in-situ.
A Solexperts' monitoring system was used in the monitoring wells and within the reactive wall, allowing a quantitative evaluation of the effectiveness of the remediation. |
