Services / MonitoringThe GeoMonitor is a modular real-time data acquisition system designed for geotechnical and hydrological monitoring and testing. Data are automatically processed, graphically and numerically displayed and stored. The GeoMonitor system is an extremely flexible system that can monitor small projects with only a few sensors as well as large projects with hundreds of sensors. A wide range of sensor types can be monitored including analog and vibrating wire sensors and robotic total stations: |
Kirchenwald Tunnel (Switzerland): Geotechnical montiroring of the tunnel protal and critical sections was performed using the GeoMonitor system with extensometers and anchor load cells. |
Grimsel Rock Laboratory: Nagra (Switzerland): IThe National Cooperative for the Disposal of Radioactive Waste (Nagra) performs in-situ experiments at Grimsel to study the potential of deep geological waste disposal. Complex boundary conditions can be simulated in the large real-scale experiments. Solexperts helps design, manufactures and installs the testing equipment and conducts many of the experiments. The GeoMonitor system is being used to monitor a large number of the experiments. |
Frutigen (Switzerland): Monitoring of a about 2 km excavation/construnction for the norther portal of Lotschberg tunnel. Directly along the excavation is the current BLS (Bern-Lötschberg-Simplon-Bahn) train rail system. |
La Roche (Switzerland): Automatic monitoring of displacements and vibrations of a large rock mass above a road and train line during blasting for the construction of a new tunnel. |
Lubeck (Germany): Surface extensometers and other sensors were installed on the Herren Bridge during construction of the Herren tunnel. The GeoMonitor monitores these sensors to ensure structural behaviour of the old concrete brigde until the by-pass tunnel is completeted. |
