hiDCon elements in tunnelling

hiDCon^® is a cement-based construction material, which under defined loads can deform by as much as 50% of the height of the construction element. It is used in areas of civil engineering in which under controlled amount of deformation the cross section parameters in structures should be limited to maximum values.

Application examples:
• Tunnelling under squeezing or swelling rock conditions
• Limitation of anchor tensile forces
• Infrastructure structures in unstable creeping slopes
• Deformation absorption under thermal actions
• Deformation absorption under dynamic loading
