Borehole extensometer

The extensometer is used to precisely measure axial displacements along different sections in a borehole. The extensometer consists of a bundle of individual extensometers. The measuring range is 100 mm or 250 mm. The measurements can be recorded both manually or automatically, e.g. with a Solexperts data logger (SDL). In most models, the data logger and remote data transmission module are integrated in the measuring head and can be completely lowered into the borehole.
