Dilatometer probe 72 mm

A borehole probe for Dilatometer tests in small boreholes has to meet high requirements. Solexperts developed a new dilatometer probe with an outer diameter of 72 mm, which offers all the advantages of the larger Solexperts dilatometer probes (92, 96, 118, 142 mm) and can be used down to great depths (max: 1400 m).

The use of linear encoders provides a direct contact of the displacement transducers to the borehole wall. The measuring range is 27 mm, the sensitivity 1 micron (0.001 mm). The tensile, compressive and shear strength of the probe is high because of the probe housing made of titanium.

The dilatometer probe 72 mm was already successfully used in the field.
