Solexperts IoT

Solexperts IoT is a cloud-based Internet of Things platform tailored to measurement data acquisition, processing and visualisation for geotechnical and hydrogeological applications. Solexperts IoT can be used to implement projects with high security requirements, complex alarming needs and versatile visualisations.

The most important components

The platform consists of decentralised and independent data acquisition systems as well as highly available and robust server applications. Solexperts IoT is based on the open source software Thingsboard (, which offers modern industry standards, real-time capabilities, longevity and a large development community, among many other advantages. With our self-developed server applications, we realise additional functionalities, such as the support of established Internet protocols such as FTP, which are no longer commonly used in data acquisition. The strength of Solexperts IoT is that the platform can be customised to your needs. Customizing for our customers ranges from user-defined specifications for data acquisition and automated processes, e.g. for reporting, to setting up customised visualisations and connecting third-party systems.





With a glance at interactive maps, you can quickly assess alarm levels and sensor values at different locations.

Visualisation of the data

Visualise sensors with suitable chart types, dynamically interact with the data by zooming, downloading and selecting specific sensors for display. You can also check alarms and compare the current measured values with the predefined threshold values.

Graphical representations

Simple selection of sensors, user-friendly definition of the desired time window and effortless customisation of sensor selection and plot parameters 


Easily find and check all monitoring instruments in customisable tables. Check the current connection status and view historical measurements - with just a few clicks.

Logbook and live view

Create your own logbook to systematically document events. You can also install a live view with a webcam on the IoT platform.


Easily review all triggered alarms, assign them to customers, delete incidents or add comments. Alarms work on the basis of personalised rules and are activated as soon as they reach or repeatedly exceed the threshold value. The system supports up to five different alarm levels.

User management

The platform offers personalised access, granting each customer individual rights to view certain information. Experienced and trained customers can also be assigned editing rights so that they can manage the platform independently.
