Sliding micrometer (GM)

Displacement measurements along measurement lines (boreholes) provide information about the deformation behaviour of the rock or structure as well as about the interaction between the structure and the ground. With the sliding micrometer, displacement and deformation profiles in soil, rock and structures are precisely recorded metre by metre along arbitrarily aligned measuring lines. The measuring accuracy in the vertical direction is ΔZ +/-0.002 mm/m and the measuring range extends over +/-10 mm/m.
