Sliding deformeter measuring tubes

The sliding deformeter measuring line is formed by the measuring tubes installed in the ground, rock or structure. The measuring tubes consist of telescopic couplings made from ABS and HPVC connecting tubes. The connection between the telescopic coupling and the measuring tube can optionally be made water pressure-tight.

The standard displacement range of the measuring tubes is 50 mm/m shortening and 50 mm/m lengthening. The displacement range can be adjusted to 80 mm/m shortening and 20 mm/m lengthening in cases where only compression is expected, e.g. during consolidation tests. On the other hand, the displacement range can be adjusted to 20 mm/m shortening and 80 mm/m lengthening in cases where only lengthening is expected, e.g. during extrusion tests.

Sliding micrometer and especially sliding deformeter measurements are often combined with borehole inclinometer measurements to determine not only the axial displacements but the entire displacement vector. In addition to sliding deformeter measuring tubes, Solexperts also offers tubes for combined measurements with the borehole inclinometer.
