Pile load tests

Static pile load tests, in vertical and horizontal directions, are used to test foundation piles for their load-bearing capacity and serviceability. The skin friction along the vertically loaded pile or the bedding along the horizontally loaded pile can be determined via the occurring deformation.

Solexperts uses sliding micrometers and Trivec to measure the deformation. These measuring instruments achieve reliable measurement results because they have a high measuring accuracy and are able to carry out displacement measurements along a measuring line. The tests are designed by our experienced measurement technicians and engineers and carried out in accordance with Swiss Geotechnical Standard 267. The measurement of the pile head displacements and the test loads as well as the precise regulation of the test load is carried out automatically and is continuously monitored and controlled via the internet (WebDAVIS) by the responsible engineers and geotechnical engineers.
